4th friday tintype show and The Cameron Museum of Art

This weekend should be alot of fun, on friday visit Amce art for The No Boundries 2012 show.
Cross the street and see more of me at the the 621N4th Street Gallery, 60+ tintypes. Then on Saturday and Sunday visit the Cameron Museum of Art for a Civil War reenactment of the Battle of the Forks. Lets just say it was a really big deal in the history of this country, and it happened here. Here are some new plates from the Fall of Ft Anderson(148th) just days ago.

Get a tintype for your self or a loved one on a Civil War battlefield. How cool is that? Ambrotypes too!

A Southern Winter Wedding

Great fun with cousin Isabel and Rachid on a chilly January night. We even did a tintype portrait session before the rehearsal in my downtown daylight studio. Here are a few of the highlights.

Rio Jordan, images from the Cape Fear River

A show of 50+ Tintypes and Ambrotypes shot over the past 3 years in and around the Cape Fear River. This is the start of a long term project to document the lower Cape Fear with the wet plate process and large cameras. "Rio Jordan" refers to the name Giovanni de Verrazano of Spain gave the river in 1524. Also included are some tintypes I made on my Spanish expedition
of June 2011. I was a guest artist at Sianoja XI.

Southern Style Fine Art Wedding Photography in Wilmington NC

Historic processes such as Film, Tintypes and Ambrotypes used to document your wedding day.
I used a digital camera too,but the gems of the day often come with the magic analogue photography. If you want something more, I'm your guy.
Pardon the catchy post title, just a little something for search engines.
