Meet the Connolly's its all about living art ,catching fish and having a good laugh. Here they are
forever on jappaned steel. This will really confuse people 150 years from now(at a yard sale). I wonder about our telephones; full of photos, where will they be 150 years from now?

Tintype wedding

As if regular wedding photography is not stressful enough, how about a tintype wedding like my new friends Jamie and Tom. The couple choose to have a really personal wedding circa 1875. Here are a few of the 16 plates made(in 5 hours)(in blazing midday sun), half and whole plate sizes.

World Wet Plate Day 2011

2 of the 20 some plates I did today, to honor Fredrick Archer, who 1851 invented the process I started doing in 2007. Top is a Half plate the bottom is 8x10, both jappaned tin.

Sianoja-Simposio Internacional De Artistas En Noja

I have been invited to Noja Spain to be apart of Simposio Internacional De Artistas En Noja. I am very honored and excited -needless to say. This is all apart of my studies of the Cape Fear River (the Spanish were the first from Europe to explore the river). The work will be likeness and other world views done with the wet plate collodion process of the Spanish coast and its people.
